What better way to spend your summer days than at horse camp?
Every year, Crosspoint Farm holds several weeks of summer camp. Camp is a time to expand the kids' realm of horse-related
activities. Not only do they learn more about riding in general, but they also learn about many aspects of caring for their
horses. Activities at summer camp may include any of the following:
- Games on horseback (barrel racing, egg-race, bareback games, etc.)
- Trail rides
- Grooming clinic
- Stall cleaning and Tack cleaning
- Horse-shoeing demonstration
- Learning to wrap a horse's legs or care for an injured horse
- Learning about what horses can and cannot eat
- Learning the parts of a horse
- Learning the pieces of tack and their different uses
- Swimming
- Arts and Crafts
- Scavenger hunts
- Interactive team games such as kickball, softball, volleyball
- Field trip to Surgi-Care to watch a horse surgery or just to meet the vets.

Regardless of the activites, the kids always have fun just being around the horses. Ages 5 to 12, beginner to advanced. Older
kids are welcome, but our activities are aimed toward the specified age group. Space limited. CAMP DATES !!!!!!! We're gonna skip summer camp this year . . .
too much going on. Maybe next year? **Space is limited. First come, first served**
