Our Facilities
Crosspoint Farm sits on 7 acres in Riverview, Florida, twenty minutes from the Tampa Fairgrounds. There
are two open-design barns with a total of 30 stalls, as well as 7 additional stalls out in the back paddocks. The front
barn facilities include fourteen 12x12 stalls, all rubber-matted. The barn has individually wired fans, an automatic
fly sprayer system, air conditioned tack room, laundry room, 4 stall washrack, and separate feed room. We have a jump
ring, a grass riding field, 6 turnout areas, and a petting zoo for the kids! The back barn includes sixteen 12x12
stalls, 4 stall washrack, tack room, and separate feed room. It's still in process :)

Feeding
The horses are fed high quality grain and hay three times
a day. Their diet is very important to us, and each horse is fed based on its individual needs. Fat horses =
happy horses, right?

Turnout
The horses are turned out according to their specific requirements. They
may go out individually or in groups, daily or overnight.
Farrier
Our trusted farrier, Dan Lombard, has been with us for over ten years and does
high-quality work. Our horses are shod or trimmed every 5 weeks or so to keep their feet in the best possible condition.
With our fast-growing family, we had to pick up an additional farrier to share in the workload. Bob
Dorr joined us in 2007 and he does an exceptional job as well.

Supervision
Several knowledgable people, including the owners, live on the property, so the horses are under
constant qualified supervision. Abby's apartment is 50 feet away from the barn, so she hears everything that goes on out there.
For added peace of mind, if something ever does go wrong, it is only a 5 minute drive to Surgi-Care, an excellent equine
hospital and surgery center. The safety of the horses is our number one concern.
